Protective Functions

• Main Chip: Different protection IC schemes may be chosen based on requirements.
• Battery Overcharge Protection:
  A charger is connected between P+ and P- to charge the battery. When the voltage reaches 4.2 ± 0.05V (customizable), the protection circuit activates, cutting off the charging path to prevent overcharging.
• Battery Over-discharge Protection:
  A load is connected between P+ and P- to discharge the battery. When voltage drops to 2.5 ± 0.1V (customizable), the protection circuit activates, cutting off the discharge path to prevent over-discharge.
• Short-circuit Protection:
  If P+ and P- are shorted, the protection circuit acts quickly (within 5–50µs) to cut off the circuit, preventing damage.
• Over-current Protection:
  When the voltage between the B-terminal and P-terminal reaches 0.15 ± 0.02V, the protection circuit acts within 5–26ms to cut off the circuit, preventing overcurrent damage.
