Description
Apsen 18650 48V 13000mAh Scooter Battery
The Apsenx 13S5P 48V battery pack is built in our own line, not outsourced. Every step—from cell sorting to welding to BMS setup—is done in-house, so we can control the quality and tweak specs easily for OEM orders. This is why a lot of our bulk clients stick with us: the packs come in stable, consistent, and without weird surprises.

We sort every cell automatically for voltage, capacity, and IR before grouping them. Only matched cells go into a pack, which is the basis for long cycle life and fewer warranty headaches. For welding, we use 10mm nickel strips and a high-pressure 6-point spot-welding setup. It’s the same configuration we use for our long-term contracted brands, so you’re basically getting the same production standard.
Each pack comes with its own BMS—overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, all the usual protections. If the current spikes or the voltage hits the BMS limit, it just shuts itself down. No drama, fewer returns.
The 48V 13Ah build fits almost all foldable scooter brands, which makes it easy for distributors and assembly factories who don’t want to redesign their housings. Cycle life is solid too—around 1,000 cycles with proper charging.
If you’re buying for wholesale, we can handle pretty much any OEM detail: connector types, wire lengths, label design, branding on the pack, retail packaging, and even custom capacity versions if you want something higher or lower.
Custom Options
Custom capacity & voltage for specific vehicle models
Wire length / connector changes for your assembly line
Branding & packaging for distributors or private-label sellers
Batch consistency control for long-term orders
This battery pack delivers 48V with 13Ah capacity using 18650 cells.
Customers choose this model when they build or upgrade electric scooters that need more range and stable power output.
Most buyers install it directly into scooters or use it to replace old battery systems.
Where customers use it
Buyers use this pack in real mobility products, not small electronics.
Electric scooters
- Commuter scooters
- Sharing scooters
- DIY scooter projects
Customers match this battery with 48V motor systems. This voltage is one of the most common setups in mid-range scooters.
E-bikes and light electric vehicles
- City e-bikes
- Folding electric bikes
- Delivery bikes
Buyers choose 48V when they want more power compared to 36V systems but still keep the system simple.
Battery replacement market (very important)
Many customers buy this pack to replace:
- old lithium battery packs
- 48V lead-acid systems
- worn-out scooter batteries
They switch to lithium because it:
- reduces weight
- increases range
- keeps voltage more stable during use
How customers use it in scooter systems
A typical scooter setup includes:
- motor (48V)
- controller
- battery pack
- charger (usually 54.6V for 48V lithium)
Customers match voltage first, then choose capacity based on how far they want to ride.
Why customers choose 48V 13Ah
Buyers usually choose this configuration when:
- they want longer range than 10Ah packs
- they need enough power for daily commuting
- they want a balance between cost and performance
Capacity (Ah) directly affects runtime. Higher Ah means longer riding distance.
Range in real use (what customers actually care about)
Range depends on several factors:
- motor power
- rider weight
- terrain
- speed
In general:
- higher capacity = longer distance
- 48V systems = better efficiency than lower voltage setups
Example from similar systems: a mid-range battery can support tens of kilometers depending on usage conditions.
When customers choose this instead of 36V or 60V
Customers move to 48V systems when:
- 36V does not provide enough power
- they want better climbing performance
- they need more stable output under load
They move to 60V or higher only when:
- speed and power become the priority
Battery structure
This pack uses multiple 18650 cells arranged in series and parallel.
- series (S) → sets voltage
- parallel (P) → increases capacity
Customers care more about:
- pack consistency
- discharge stability
- BMS protection
Real use experience
In real projects:
- this battery works well for daily commuting scooters
- it provides stable output under continuous load
- it improves range compared to smaller packs
Final performance still depends on controller, motor, and riding conditions.
What bulk buyers focus on
Before placing orders, buyers usually check:
- real capacity under load
- discharge current (important for motor power)
- BMS protection
- connector type
- battery size for installation
For scooter projects, matching battery and controller matters more than just capacity.
OEM & bulk supply
Customers who buy this model usually include:
- scooter manufacturers
- e-bike factories
- repair shops and distributors
- battery replacement suppliers
We support bulk orders and adjust pack design based on your product.
