Production Process
Apsenx runs the whole lithium battery production process in-house, from the first material prep all the way to finished battery packs. It starts with anode and cathode mixing, then moves into coating, drying, and calendering. These steps set the foundation for how the battery performs later—capacity, stability, and cycle life all come from here.
Once the electrodes are ready, they’re cut to size and assembled into cells. Depending on the cell design, the process uses either winding or stacking. After that comes electrolyte filling and sealing, followed by formation and aging. This is where the cells really take shape, and where performance and safety issues show up early.
Every battery cell is tested and sorted before it ever reaches battery pack assembly. Only well-matched cells move forward. The final stage brings everything together—busbars, BMS, structure, and enclosure—plus final checks to make sure each battery pack is ready for real-world use.
